American Psycho vs Vampire's Kiss

Have you ever watched a movie and it just really reminded you of one you've seen before. Given, Vampire's Kiss is far more relatable to Martin (1977), but American Psycho does offer an interesting comparison. Either that or I've lost my mind and I'm grasping at straws... it's probably both.
