Ok I know it's sacrilege but I had to rant this out. Jennifer's Body may be feminist but it's not queer positive in my preview... in fact, it's not even feminist.
For me... I'm sick of women not getting along. If the women are pitted against one another and simply reduced still engaged in the role of 'female one' in the nearly compulsory heteronormative coupling, then it's not feminist.
Further this story still engages with a character being confronted with their sexuality, specifically queer sexuality, but are ultimately saved when they reject this by killing the queer monsters and remaining heteronormative.
